Researchers
The CRCAA brings together one of the strongest teams of asthma researchers in the world. Their complementary skills range from molecular biology, immunology, genetics and pharmacology through to physiology, thoracic medicine and epidemiology. This team is ideally placed to deliver integrated research programs that will be able to take discoveries from in silico research via in vitro and in vivo experiments through to animal models and clinical proof of concept. All of the program leaders have established track records and have international reputations and are experienced at communicating their results. All are experienced in running long term, major research projects in industry-exposed settings. A number have dual roles as researchers and clinicians, and so the research is being conducted in the context of its application. All program leaders will be making significant time commitments to the CRCAA.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer and is comprised of the senior scientists and the Business Manager. The role of the committee is to coordinate the Research, Education and Commercialisation Programs.
